    01

    Day 1: Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

    After breakfast, drive from Moshi or Arusha to Lemosho Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest, where you may spot black-and-white colobus monkeys and colorful birdlife. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp for dinner and your first overnight on the mountain.

    Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

    Leave the rainforest behind as you climb into open moorland with spectacular views of the Shira Plateau and Kibo Peak. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp in the afternoon

    Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

    Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

    Today's trek follows the important "climb high, sleep low" acclimatization principle. Hike to Lava Tower (4,630 m) before descending to Barranco Camp, helping your body adapt to the altitude while enjoying dramatic volcanic scenery.

    Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

    Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

    Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp

    Your summit attempt begins shortly after midnight. Trek through the darkness to Stella Point before continuing to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement and enjoy a spectacular sunrise before descending to Barafu Camp for a short rest, then continue to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.

    Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

    After breakfast, descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate. Meet your driver for the transfer back to your hotel to celebrate your successful Kilimanjaro adventure.
