On this safari, you’ll encounter Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, Serengeti offers thrilling predator-prey action, and Ngorongoro Crater hosts an incredibly diverse population, including the rare black rhino.
Predator sightings are excellent year-round, but the dry season (June to October) offers the best visibility as animals gather around water sources. The Serengeti also provides incredible action during the migration months, when predators follow large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
This safari can be arranged as a private experience, giving you flexibility and personalized guiding throughout your journey in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Private safaris allow you to spend more time at sightings and tailor the experience to your interests.
Morning: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha. Meet your guide and transfer to Tarangire National Park.
Afternoon: Game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds and occasional lion sightings.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at lodge or tented camp
Morning: Early breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park. Enjoy wildlife viewing en route.
Afternoon: Arrival and afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti (Seronera area), famous for resident big cats.
Evening: Sunset views, dinner, and overnight at camp.
Morning & Afternoon: Full-day game drive dedicated to tracking predators. Explore different of the Serengeti in search of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Witness hunting behavior and territorial movements.
Lunch: Picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by wildlife.
Evening: Return to camp for dinner and relaxation
Morning: Sunrise game drive in Serengeti for active predators.
Midday: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater.
Afternoon: Descend into the crater for a game drive. Spot lions, hyenas, and possibly the rare black rhino.
Evening: Ascend and overnight at lodge on the crater rim or nearby highlands.
Morning: Leisurely breakfast with scenic views of the highlands.
Late Morning: Drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
